Face of The Day July 4th with Pinks and Giant LORAC Bronzer

Quick face of the day that I'm wearing today, July 4th.  It's not particularly festive, just a pink and bronze natural face featuring my ginormous LORAC bronzer used on the cheeks.  It came in the Bejeweled Jewelry Day to Night set, I'm not sure why they included such a giant bronzer, but okay!

I used a light layer of Maybelline Fit Me foundation in 110 on my nose and cheeks to tone down redness and a bit on my chin on forehead to match up and even things out.  It's probably the lightest shade of foundation I've found, possibly the MAKE UP FOR EVER Mat Velvet+ in No 15 is as light, but that leans pink.  The Fit Me is fairly neutral toned.  It is sheer to light coverage, which I prefer.  I set the foundation and toned down shine with my fairly new Sonia Kashuk Bare Minimum Pressed Powder in Translucent Fair.

For eyes (LORAC eye primer first of course!), I applied (with finger) L'Oreal Infallible shadow in Sapphire Pink on the lid, blended a mix of Urban Decay Naked and Buck through the crease, layered over a bit of Urban Decay Sin on top of the lid to help brighten the inner half.  Put a decently thick line of L'Oreal Infallible liner in Espresso close to the lashline.  Last and most obnoxious, applied a generous layer of Maybelline Mega Plush Volum' Express mascara - I find this stuff a pain to apply.  Takes a lot of time to build up and lashes tend to stick together once you do get a lot of product on them.  Would not recommend or repurchase, but your experience may vary of course!

Under my eyes I put Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Linen (which is an eye base but I was curious if it would sit well under eyes), then topped up in the deep depression looking particularly shaded today with Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer in light.  Urban Decay Shakedown matte (discontinued) shadow applied with angled brow brush on to brows.  And look at the mighty bronzer!  It's not matte, not super shimmery, but has a sheen.  It's kind of a reddish tone which for me is very similar to if I had gotten a touch of a sunburn on top of my freckles and isn't too deep of a shade, so I like it on my cheeks.  And seems I always forget something, so I tacked on a separate image of the LORAC gloss into my grouping. :)  The flash highlighted the nice fine pearly shimmer these glosses have.
