Foundation and Concealing Acne with MAKE UP FOR EVER Full Cover Video

I've had a pretty miserable run of breakouts in the past month, quite out of the blue. It felt somewhat triggered by using Amazing Cosmetics concealer without reading the ingredients (mineral oil at the top) which caused several blemishes, then I got a cold and everything spazzed out even more. So I decided I couldn't wait until the Sephora Friends and Family sale and bought MAKE UP FOR EVER Full Cover concealer - I just didn't have anything that matched me well enough for face concealing.

I've been enjoying the shade match on shade #1, it's definitely usable with a touch of blending in surrounding skin. Since I have several spots and quite a lot of redness around my nose from the cold, I figured I'd film a video showing how I use it to conceal and applying foundation after.

I also featured the brushes I've been using - two Coastal Scents synthetic brushes for concealer and a Real Techniques Buffing Brush for my powder foundation. All working quite nicely lately, and at a good price!

  1. This is a great tutorial. The MUFE Full Cover is the best full cover concealer I've found. It's amazing for spot concealing and although it takes a bit of practice it also works for larger areas too, somehow looking very natural despite such dense pigment. Plus it lasts through EVERYTHING for me, sweat rain, etc.

    1. That's awesome! I'm glad you have had such great luck with it. I find it works really well on my redness but will break down some from oils on an acne blemish. But I can't expect miracles, right?! :)
