So like most everyone else, I went a little crazy with the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains back when they were released. I bought Charm, Rendezvous and Honey. I slapped together a quick post about Charm here when I first used it for a full day. The lip color is a peach but the stain is bright pinky coral. Rendezvous has a similar effect, maybe less noticeably pink but it's closer to the actual product.
Honey, what I'm wearing here, is way darker than I'd expect from the tube. It's pretty, but sure is different than what you might expect! I like the texture of these balms though, they're very comfortable to wear and somewhat moisturizing. But I really don't like that everything (I've tried that are quite different shades) leaves the same hot pink stain. It's not the greatest color on my skin tone and it seems a little cheap. I would definitely buy more if I thought I could get a stain the same color as the initial color!

I own Adore and I like it. It's a nice neutral for me. I like Honey and I think I'll buy that one next. I think Revlon Kissable Balm Stain's are actually nicer than the Clinique version (and cheaper too).
ReplyDeleteHi Chris! I haven't tried the Clinique version but there are so many good chubby lip crayon options at the drugstore now, it seems silly to bother paying more! I just picked up one from Jordana in Cranberry Crush and I absolutely love it. :) They're really affordable too, if you're looking for a new one to try!
