NARS All Day Luminous and Sheer Glow in Siberia vs L'Oreal True Match in W1 Porcelain - Swatches

Since rediscovering L'Oreal True Match in W1 Porcelain and how light it is compared to most products high end and drugstore, I wanted to give a quick comparison swatch. I'll also add this to the roundup post I posted here. The skin on my face is around NC5-NC10 with my neck being lighter. These swatches are on my inner arm and is lighter than NC5.

NARS Luminous Siberia, NARS Sheer Glow Siberia, L'Oreal TM W1, LM Soft Porcelain, MAC MSFN in Light

I got samples of both the NARS All Day Luminous and Sheer Glow in Siberia from Sephora from fresh bottles. I stirred up the All Day Luminous like crazy since it's a formula that needs to be shaken, it separates in the bottle/sample jar. There seems to be a slight color difference in my swatch here between the formulas, but in person they seemed the same.

L'Oreal True Match in W1 Porcelain looks a tiny bit peachy compared to the truer yellow tones of the NARS Siberia swatches. I like to include the Laura Mercier Mineral Powder in Soft Porcelain because it is so very light and also quite yellow toned for reference. The Luminous formula doesn't sit well on my skin (enhances dryness) but the Sheer Glow seemed to work for me very similarly to the L'Oreal True Match - except it doesn't get as dewy/oily as quickly and lasts a bit longer. If I can finish the L'Oreal, I might consider replacing it with the Sheer Glow for the better longevity.

I hope this helped!
