I'll admit I'm suckered into buying certain beauty products
due to a completely silly reason, a connection with space. I have a real love for science, technology, astronomy and science fiction. I have acquired several starry sky type eye and
nail colors, and when the name is space related too I can't resist!
- Sinful Colors in Secret Admirer
- Sonia Kashuk nail color in Starry Night
- Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy in Orbit (double space reference!)
- ULTA Extreme Wear Whipped Eye Shadow in Whipped Stardust
I picked up the Sinful Colors shade because I wanted the Sonia Kashuk polish but didn't want to pay for it. It's not as deep and dark as the Sonia Kashuk (which I caved and bought anyway, haha) but the shimmer appearance and type is very similar. The purple polish in the Revlon Moon Candy is super pigmented but the flakey turned into goop very fast. The flakes were big and sometimes were difficult to get to lay flat. So beautiful though! Last up, the ULTA cream shadow! Whipped Stardust, be still my heart. It's not exactly a great representation of starry stuff, but it's a nice slightly sparkly gray silver.
