FOTD Physicians Formula Nude, Maybelline LE Nude Embrace lipstick

Hi there! So I've been rather neglectful of the blog of late, I decided I'd do more quick posts using pictures from my much improved new camera on my phone. Some might be from Instagram but with more information, or fast posts of reviews/swatches/what have you.

Here I'm wearing CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation in Ivory 805 mixed with Illamasqua Skin Base in White. I also used the Guerlain Meteorites deluxe sample primer I got with the Precious Lights kit back ages ago. Now that my skin is less oily, thought I'd see if it was at all exciting since everyone is in love with the Les Ors Meteorites primer from Guerlain. Used twice, so far no excitement from me. We'll see!

On my eyes, Too Faced Shadow Insurance in Lemon Drop, Physicians Formula Nude palette with the Estee Lauder cream shadow in Pink Pearl as a base. The Nude palette is rather so-so, I'm never wowed by the pigmentation or variety of looks on the eye, seems to all kind of blend together. A combination of Urban Decay Shakedown matte shadow (discontinued) and Studio Gear brow pencil in Medium Ash with some Anastasia tinted brow gel in Brunette sparingly applied on top of my brows. Sonia Kashuk gel liner (likely discontinued as I got it on clearance a long time ago) in Charcoal Gray for tightline. CoverGirl Clump Crusher on the lashes.

For my cheeks, Tarina Tarantino blush in Feather and NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Powder all over my face to get that sheeny glow. On my lips, Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in Nude Embrace (limited edition) which is so similar to my natural lip color (when not flushed) - light dirty mauve with tinge of pink. Over that I had dabbed a tiny amount of Almay Liquid Lip Balm in Rosy Lipped to add a hint of warmth and shine. Too much glossy stuff and the lipstick with break down a bit and pool in my lip lines.

I think that's it! Hope you're having a wonderful day and I'll be seeing you more often hopefully! :D
